Curly hair in humid climates requires mousse... lots and lots of mousse. Good thing there is a jared lindsay clark original in the hallway...
First stop was a little place in Brooklyn with the most delicious french toast I've ever eaten
Nelson St.
A nice walk through Central Park
Beautiful lady in front of this geek mecca? Yes please!!!
Window shopping
Lindt Store (free samples)
30 Rock (unfortunately no Tina Fey sightings)
I stopped by this place to see if they could help me find all the money I've lost in my IRA and 401k... but I guess they're not open on Saturdays.
Just up the road they were shooting some kind of a commercial for Tiffany & Co.
Next stop was Chinatown (again) this time for potstickers (5 for $1) and watching the men cram in around games in the park, some Tai Chi and karaoke.
This place actually looks much better from the front.
Do they sell dried fish and squid at your local candy store? they do in Chinatown...
Sarah needed a little more time on Canal street to haggle on a watch and some jewelry.
and some ridiculously pink and ruffly store.
Next up was a cab ride (can you say tired feet by this time?) to the west village...
for dinner with an old friend who just moved to the NYC.
Chipotle with the Chrysler building in the background... beautiful...
Madison Square Park again... this time for the ambience, and not the shakes (although I think I would have if the line wasn't still 80 people long)
creepy train conductor... I snapped this on a whim... it wasn't until I looked at it on the computer that I realized that we was looking right at me...
