New York City 2010 Day 3

We took it easy on Day 3 for a few reasons... It's Sunday, we had to travel home in the evening, and we were absolutely exhausted. We took the subway up to "Museum Mile". Doesn't this girl look like she was born to live on Park ave?

I love Frank Lloyd Wright's work. This isn't my favorite of his by a long shot, but it was still really neat to finally see one and go inside.

We went to the Met and just hung out in the lobby soaking in the grandness of it all. Sarah noticed that those flowers (HUGE arrangements) are fresh flowers.

One last relaxing rest before meeting Chris for lunch and then saying goodbye.

Waiting for that last subway connection:

I couldn't pass this one up - he's VERY actively reading Soap Digest.

The anxiety builds... we will get on the plane? or will we have to decide if it's better to sleep in the terminal, or go back to Chris' place and try to get 3 or 4 hours before tomorrow's flight?

relief. home is a wonderful thing.

Thank you again Mom, Dad, Lisa, Chris, Jet Blue, Coca-Cola, Vietnamese sandwiches... the weekend would NOT have been the same without you.

Fantastic blog of your adventure! I have been to NYC a million times and I think you squeezed in more sites and sounds than I have ever seen there. Good job making a memory.
